A celebration of LGBT Manchester
We worked with the young people of The Proud Trust and Museum of Science and Industry to create an interactive community exhibition exhibited in 2012 about the celebration of Manchester through LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans) eyes.
We looked at our own significant moments in the city, all taking our own cameras and film footage to tell our own stories about what happened where, and why we all love living here as LGBT people.
The exhibition was interactive and allowed viewers and visitors at the museum to get involved and talk about their own vision of Manchester.
Contributors did not all identify as LGBT themselves, but were encouraged to think of how the LGBT community fits into their perception of the wonderful City of Manchester.
The exhibition ran for 6 months until the end of LGBT History Month February 2013.
